Ascension is the name given to the third installment of the Transcend mod Trilogy.

Now with successful launch of Transcend II for Terran Conflict, we are in the process of preparing integration of this third installment.

We have been developing "Ascension" for more than 18 months, and it will contain some very unique and interesting new features and challenges fitting the inovation characteristic of the Transcend series.

More information will be presented as it becomes available.

hello m8... any idea when we will have a beta version of this mod, to test!? or a final version to play !! :biggrin:

Hi esondido. We will be reviewing our various mod activities and direction sometime early next year.

Personally, I am totally swamped as the company I work for is gearing-up to double our business. This means I must focus all my attention on RL (Real Life) software development during at least the next couple of months.

Eventually we will complete the Transcend Trilogy, but we may decide to release other mods before Ascension. For example, we are in process of evaluating Battlestar Galactica and several other possible candidate mods.

Thanks for your interest, and I wish I could provide better clarity. :smile:

Hi,

Is it possible that you can include (all) the crystals in the Ascension.
and do the same thing that LV did, but without all the sector robbing and take overs....lmao
LV's script was great until it took over every single sector in the universe.

He has a great script until invasions kicked in and took over the entire universe by force.
basically, Imperial Labs would come to a sector and talk to take your sector,
if you refused, it would just take it by force.
And basically, there was no more races, it was just one - Imperial Labs.
which sucked, because he had a great script until he screwed it up with the take overs.

But what I liked about his script was that he had Crystals of all types.
and other wares that's already part of X3TC vanilla, just never used or maybe implemented.
I did not know their was so many crystals, until I installed his script.
and the woman was speaking each crystal name.

So I know that if the female speaks the names of all the crystals,
that must mean they where part of the X3TC game, but egosoft never uses them.

For example:
Black Crystals makes factories produce 2x faster than normal.

I believe their are 8 crystals in total:
Yellow, Red, Glowing, Black, Clear, White and some others I can't currently remember.

There are also (oil), I have yet to see that in X3TC game itself, but the female says
the name of (oil) and (plutonium).
Maybe you guys can create more mines (a lot of them)
and have players Mine, and also have (oil) factories.

I would love to Mine Oil, Plutonium, Metal, and Even Crystals from the Asteroids.

I would also like to see an actual Nividium Factory in Ascension.

I have a lot of ideas.



oooh, almost forgot.
Please create a Warehouse to buy.
basically a limitless Warehouse.
Where the player can store all kinds of needed things he needs for future expansion
of his forces.
Also create a parking lot of some sorts. where pilots can park all kinds of ships no matter what size.

and the cool thing about them, is that they could be mobilized.
So basically you can have it in a sector, but if one day you wanted to move it
without losing all its storage, just fire up the engines and lets it move on its own like if it was
a ship, but its not shaped like a ship, its shaped like a Warehouse.

A scary one at that. ;) - Something along the lines of looks like the (Yaki Akuma)
but instead of looking like a ship, its more bulkier.
Its gotta be (huge) but of course barely fitting through the gate.
lmao

It would have 12 - 200-MJ shields
and laser towers all around it and missile bays.
but its a Warehouse.

Some of the stuff you mentioned will be taken into consideration. Right now we cannot make a statement on what Ascension will be except to say it will be unique.
